Job Description A help desk, is a department inside an organization that is responsible for answering the technical questions of its users. Most major IT companies have set up help desks to respond to questions from their customers. The questions and their answers are usually transferred using e-mail, website, or online chat. The I.T. Helpdesk responsibility is to offer support and technical assistance to customers who are using software, hardware, or other computer systems and need help completing tasks or troubleshooting problems through diagnostic tests and remote access to their computers.
Job Qualifications ROLE:
• Assisting in the installation of new PCs, printers and other peripheral devices.
• Loading operating systems and configuring network settings for workstations.
• Performing standard repairs.
• Analyzing the failed equipment according to the established procedures and taking the appropriate action.
• Assisting in the maintenance of the security softwares.
• Logging the support calls and conducting the general diagnostic and troubleshooting functions.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Mathematics or any related branch preferred.
• An associate degree is the minimum qualification to be considered.

• Excellent customer relation skills in order to provide flawless support for them.
• Proficient in Windows XP, Vista and Windows 7, Linux etc.
• Good working knowledge of all desktop applications and malware applications.
• Ability to load and troubleshoot various software and hardware systems.
• Good knowledge of various networking concepts.
• Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment.
• Good interpersonal skills and organizational skills.
• Good phone and email etiquettes.
• Willing to work in a flexible schedule.
Compensation 25,000 - 30,000
