Job Description Job Description: The ER Specialist reports to the Human Resources Manager and supports operating units by implementing human resources programs and solving performance problems. General Job Duties: Implements human resources programs by providing human resources services, including talent acquisition, staffing, employment processing, compensation, health and welfare benefits, training and development, records management, safety and health, employee relations and retention and labor relations. Develops human resources solutions by collecting and analyzing information and recommending courses of action. Coordinates new hire orientation, including transition to training. Assists with coordination of benefits administration and open enrollment. Coordinate payroll by collecting and inputting data and timesheets. Ensuring compliance by analyzing trends involving payroll, staffing, wages and employee relations. Coaches and counsels managers on performance management. Improves manager and employee relations by identifying and clarifying problems, evaluating potential solutions, implementing selected solution and coaching and counseling managers and employees. Endorses an open door culture for all employees. Completes special projects by setting timetables and schedules, conducting research, developing and organizing information and fulfilling requests. Manages manager expectations by communicating project status and issues, resolving concerns, analyzing time and preparing reports. Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends. Assists with planning and execution of annual appraisal program. Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential. Ensures the company's compliance to local legal labor standards by studying existing and new legislation,enforcing adherence to requirements and advising management on needed actions. Supports the HR Manager in policy creation and implementation and coordinates with the company's legal retainers for the roll-out of such. Assists with coordinating terminations and separations for concerned employees. Enhances department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments. Positively represent the company in all internal and external communication. Be flexible and adaptable to all company project needs.
Job Qualifications Skills and Qualifications:
2-3 years of experience in the HR discipline.
Expertise with performance management and employee engagement,
Experience with robust HRIS programs and maintaining employee files,
Conflict Resolution skills.
Experience and comprehension of local labor legislation and jurisprudence,
Excellent project management and events organizing skills.
Great communication and writing skills.
